PMcK have considerable 11KV  Experience, and this was called upon when a NIE Substation, Cabling and Client MV Switchgear was located within the footprint of the proposed location for the 2015 Extension to the Waterfront Hall Belfast.

Belfast Waterfront is a multi-purpose conference and entertainment centre located in Lanyon Place.

Constantly in Use, PMcK had to Install 2 x 2500 KVA Synchronised Diesel Gensets, to temporarily power the Flagship building, whilst the Main Civils Contractor and The local electrical Supply Authority to divert HV Supply cables to a new location outside the footprint of the building, to a new Schnieder  Ring Main Metering Unit and re position the  11kv Packaged Substation.

All works were programmed over a 6 week period with no disruption to the operations of the Waterfront Hall, Hilton Hotel or the adjoining office blocks.

PMcK project managed the delivery of the works, liasing with NIE, Client and adjoining premises to ensure minimal disruption
