Nippon Gases Warrenpoint CO2 Terminal

PMK were appointed to deliver the facilitation and transfer of CO2 gasses from a ship to holding tanks.

The project included the installation of 1No 100mm and 1No 150mm” SCH10s stainless steel pipelines along the existing Warrenpoint Harbour Authority footbridges, mooring points and dolphins spanning approximately 170m in length.

The 150mm” line transports liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) between the Nippon Gases vessel and the storage/import approximately 1km away, within the WHA land, which runs adjacent to the Narrow Water Stretch.
