Mackle Pet Foods, a leading manufacturer in the pet food industry, undertook the development of a new, fully automated canning facility. The goal was to implement modern automation systems supported by a high-capacity, reliable electrical infrastructure to ensure production efficiency and scalability.
We completed the full electrical installation for the new canning facility, centered around a 630A power supply. Power was distributed through a newly installed MCCB panel, feeding a network of TPN (Three Phase and Neutral) distribution boards positioned throughout the building.
A custom-designed containment layout was developed to support both power and control circuits for the facility’s core automation systems.
Power and control circuits were installed for the following automated equipment:
Our containment design allowed for efficient, clearly routed drops to each automation point, improving serviceability and maintaining system organisation.
In addition to the automation systems, we delivered the complete range of general electrical services, including:
All works were carried out in full compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
The project achieved full integration between advanced automation technologies and a high-capacity, future-ready electrical infrastructure. Mackle Pet Foods now benefits from:
This installation strengthens Mackle Pet Foods’ operational capabilities by enabling higher production throughput with minimal manual intervention, supported by clean, compliant, and professionally executed electrical infrastructure.
