PMK is delighted to announce its appointment on the prestigious new hub by Premier Inn Trafalgar Square development at 5 Strand, Westminster, London, for main contractor Gilbert Ash.
The flagship £75 million project for Whitbread will deliver a new 691 bedroom hub by Premier Inn hotel alongside a ground floor restaurant in one of London’s most prominent and historic locations, just metres from Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross Station.
Designed as a striking new addition to London’s West End, the development comprises a 16 storey building including basement, lower ground, ground and 13 upper floors, with a targeted BREEAM Outstanding rating reflecting the project’s strong sustainability ambitions. Works are due to commence on site in Q3 of 2026.
PMK is currently undertaking the development of the electrical design through to RIBA Stage 5, showcasing the company’s strong technical capability and the expertise of its dedicated in house design team.

The hub by Premier Inn Trafalgar Square development is set to become a significant addition to central London, delivering quality, affordable accommodation in the heart of the West End.
