PMK’s Compliance division has been engaged by the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford to assess, upgrade, and achieve full compliance of the hotel’s electrical systems in line with current Irish standards.
Following a comprehensive review of the installation, PMK developed a phased compliance strategy to address the full extent of the electrical infrastructure. The works were designed to bring the installation into compliance with IS:10101 and IS:3217.
Phase 1, completed in 2025, focused on the hotel’s Leisure Facility and included a full inspection and testing of fixed wiring, along with a site wide Emergency Lighting test. All identified remedial works were successfully completed, leaving both systems compliant, fully operational, and fit for purpose.
Phase 2, currently ongoing, includes key public facing areas including the Function Room, Reception Area, Bar, and Restaurant. These spaces are undergoing the same detailed inspection and testing regime to ensure continued compliance and safety across the site.
