PMK Completes Electrical Installation for CitizenM Hotel in Dublin

PMK is delighted to announce the successful completion of our contract for the new CitizenM Hotel in Dublin, delivered in partnership with main contractor Gilbert Ash and consultant IN2. This project marks another significant milestone in our growing hospitality portfolio.

PMK was appointed to undertake the full electrical installation, encompassing the design and delivery of all containment systems, sub mains cabling, life safety and fire alarm systems, fire fighting supplies, as well as both standard and emergency lighting. Our scope also included critical power systems, backup power and generators, mechanical services wiring, and smoke vent systems wiring. All works were completed in close coordination with the wider project team to ensure seamless integration across the building’s infrastructure.

Situated in the heart of Dublin, this striking nine story development offers 245 modern bedrooms alongside a range of amenities. The project involved the sensitive retention and integration of the existing building facade, preserving a piece of architectural heritage while introducing a contemporary structure above and around it.

The thoughtfully designed ground floor features both front-of-house and back-of-house facilities, including stylish meeting rooms, a fully equipped bar, reception area, check-in desks, a pantry, and staff changing facilities. Every aspect of the layout has been crafted to support the efficient and comfortable operation of the hotel, enhancing the overall guest experience.
