PMK is pleased to announce the award of a new contract from Gilbert Ash for the delivery of full electrical services on the SG1 Stevenage Regeneration Phase 1A development in Hertfordshire.
The project represents a landmark scheme that will transform 14.6 acres in the heart of Stevenage, creating a vibrant new town centre with modern homes, retail, and commercial spaces.
Phase 1A marks the first stage of this major redevelopment, located on the site of the former Swingate House and Car Park. The works involve the construction of a new residential apartment building comprising 261 dwellings together with retail and commercial units at ground level.
Following a detailed Pre Construction period, the PMK team supported the design development from RIBA Stage 3 through to Stage 5, ensuring the project was fully coordinated and ready for delivery on site. The project has now successfully commenced on site.
PMK will be responsible for the full design, installation, and commissioning of all electrical services, including:
Mark Whaley, PMK Commercial Director, commented: “We are delighted to be working alongside Gilbert Ash on such a significant regeneration scheme for Stevenage.
