Domestic Electrician

PMK Ltd is a well-established electrical contracting business, providing electrical services for prestige clients in the Educational, Industrial and Commercial sectors throughout the UK & Ireland.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Domestic Electrician to join our team!

In this newly created position, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential properties. This includes wiring, lighting, power outlets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances in homes.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven experience in domestic electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inspection and Testing certification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
• Experience with smart home systems and energy-efficient technologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Additional Details

• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7.30am- 4.30pm
