In my 6 years with PMK, my career has grown and developed, from starting as an electrical engineer to my current position as a PPM & Service Manager. In my fast paced and reactive role, PMK have offered a very supportive environment and there is a real sense of teamwork across departments. I am proud of the strong relationships I have built with my colleagues and clients through my career journey, and I look forward to the future as we continue to grow.

I joined PMK a year ago as a newly graduated Health and Safety Officer after completing a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health at Ulster University. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to transition into a hands-on professional role where I’ve been able to apply my academic knowledge directly, carrying out onsite inspections, developing site-specific risk assessments and method statements, and actively promoting a positive safety culture across our projects and in our workplace. One of the highlights of my first year was supporting the company in achieving ISO accreditations, including ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001, which gave me invaluable experience in compliance and integrated management systems. Over the past year, I’ve felt fully supported and welcomed as part of the team. There’s a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork within PMK, and I’m excited to continue developing my career here and contributing to the company’s ongoing success.

When I joined PMK, I was a Level 3 Electrical Apprentice enrolled in a four-year apprenticeship programme through Southern Regional College. PMK has continually supported my growth and development, and I was recently offered the opportunity to join the Commercial Department as part of the Estimating team. While I'm learning new skills in this role, I'm also applying the knowledge and experience I gained during my apprenticeship. Thanks to PMK, I was able to earn qualifications while gaining hands-on experience, and now I'm continuing to develop professionally and progress in my career.

I recently celebrated 10 years with PMK, and currently I am in the payroll department, where I oversee payroll for the company. One of the things I value most is how well I’ve gotten to know everyone across the company — it really feels like a close-knit team. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with colleagues, and there’s a genuine culture of support, collaboration, and teamwork here. I’ve seen the company grow significantly during my time at PMK, and I’m excited to be part of its continued success.
